Unlike its predecessors South Park: The Fractured but Whole and South Park: the Stick of Truth, SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! features full 3D gameplay as well as a four-player co-op mode. Still, like other South Park games, expect its signature brand of humor not suitable for everyone, both in content and in visuals.

Like the other South Park games, SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! puts you in the shoes of the new kid in town. This marks the newcomer’s third adventure with the gang, this time celebrating the magical day of snow and fun. However, beyond snow angels and canceled school, this blizzard threatens to throw the town into an endless winter. It’s up to you to end the never-ending snow.
As mentioned, this features full 3D gameplay. Explore winter versions of iconic locations in South Park. You can play solo, with ally bots, or with up to three friends. This game also introduces different warring factions that you can work with or fight against. Combine this with the wide range of customization options and weapons, and you have a fun, chaotic game where you make the rules.
Of course, the only catch in this game is the same as any other game in its franchise. It contains irreverent humor that touches on different topics. Some of the materials and references might be considered offensive. Similarly, the game visually features content that is deemed graphic and inappropriate. Some of these, including the use of human excrement as a means of attack, makes this unsuitable for younger audiences.
The next generation of South Park games
While South Park games have generally banked on the mature humor from the franchise, SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! adds a new reason to play. Its cooperative gaming feature plus its 3D graphics brings the signature South Park comedy to new heights. Premise aside, the flexibility and randomness of the gameplay content lets this game stand with its predecessors. Still, expect that it’s not suitable for everyone.
